| When I was young my favorite time of the year was always Summer. I've always liked the seasons, but growing up in Colorado, the Falls were short, often cold and windy, and a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG Winter ahead. So it was never my favorite season! But as I've gotten older and now have entered the Fall season of my life, it may well be my favorite Season. I remember my Dad taking us on drives to look at the leaves changing. I thought as we drove and drove and drove, "When are we going to get there?" Well, we never ever got there cause we weren't going anyplace!!! I thought who wants to sit in a car for hours just to look at leaves! I'm much older now and I know the answer to my question. I like to look at those leaves! I like to watch a sunset, or stop to see how bright the stars are. I like to sit on the porch once in a while and do nothing but just enjoy the beauty. Maybe I'm getting older, but I'm enjoying the trip more! Hope you enjoy these few pictures I took a couple of weeks back out at my son's land. Love ya, Al Going down!

| TWO BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE Today I sorrow for the loss of a dear friend. Mike and Vicki have been such testimonies through all the trials they have faced in the last few years. Now Mike has gone on to be with the Lord and he will be greatly missed. I rejoice with him as he has gone home now and will be there to greet me when it's my turn. I look forward to that day. I sorrow for the loss now though as there is never a convienient time to die. Now he'll no longer be able to be Grandpa and Dad, and friend any longer on this earth. And yet Mike touched so many lives in such a positive way that in some ways, part of Mike will continue on forever! Vicki, we love you and cry with you and your family. We pray for God's comfort and blessings to you at this time. Thank you for being a part of our lives, Love Ole Al | | |
